At the farm gate in Huson.
At County Rail Farm and Field Five Flowers, west of Missoula, the stand’s honor system welcomes people to take the produce they need and pay what they can. The farm asks full price for flowers.
The people behind the growing.
County Rail’s vegetable operation began in 2011. Field Five Flowers followed in 2020, run by Bethany Stanbery and Tracy Potter-Fins. Their farm introduction places both operations together in Huson.
Tracy’s background includes beekeeping, sheep shearing and baking. Bethany grew up in Helena; her background includes metalwork and restaurant design. Their public farm account tells more about the paths that brought them here.
