Food saved on your device

A device list keeps food, offer, supplier and recipe ingredient identifiers in this browser. Opening the list sends those identifiers to the site to check the current details. Clearing your browser data clears this list. If storage is unavailable, the page tells you that changes last only for the visit.

Saved recipe ingredients and the before-you-shop checklist also stay in this browser. Checklist ticks are not sent to the site. You can remove ingredients, start a new trip to clear the ticks, or clear browser data to remove everything saved on this device.

Optional accounts and shared plans

Sign-in uses your email address and a verification code. Account lists, saved suppliers and recurring needs are stored with your private space. An organization’s active members can access its shared plans. Owners can invite or remove members. Invitations are intended for the named email address.

You choose when to copy a device list into your account. A recurring need is a saved plan, not an automatic order or message.

Location searches

Your chosen town or ZIP code can be remembered for this tab and included in links to help you continue exploring. An exact street address is kept out of shared URLs, saved lists and analytics. It is used to process the search and retained only in the current page’s temporary search state.

Town and ZIP searches use a local directory. When precise address lookup is enabled, the entered address is sent to Mapbox. You can use a town or ZIP instead.

Requests, replies and applications

Hopa Mountain staff review buyer requests and choose which sellers receive an introduction. Each approved supplier conversation is private to that supplier, the buyer and authorized staff. Other suppliers cannot see it. After the introduction, participants can reply directly within that conversation.

Business applications and proposed listing changes are reviewed before publication. Private follow-up details are separate from the public business profile. Approved public information can remain online while a later change is under review.

Visit counts

We use cookieless Vercel Web Analytics to count visits to public pages. Search terms, town and ZIP inputs, exact addresses and URL fragments are removed before a visit is counted. Account pages, private conversations, application and request forms, seller handoffs and staff pages are excluded. The contents of forms and saved food plans are not included in these visit counts.

Storage, service providers and deletion

The site’s hosting, database, authentication and email services process information needed to operate these features. Necessary cookies keep you signed in. A signed-in buyer can delete their own account from Your food, and a seller can remove their sign-in from the seller page. Deletion removes the person’s own details and requests; shared spaces that other people still use, other people’s records, and the published listing with Hopa’s review records stay in place.

Hopa Mountain sets how long private requests and business applications are kept and can process requests for earlier deletion. Public listings and images are handled separately from the application that introduced them.

You can remove saved items, lists and spaces using their account controls. For questions about other records, keep your reference number and contact Hopa Mountain through the help page.

When you leave for a seller’s website

The seller’s privacy practices apply to orders, payments and information you provide there. The handoff may record which food and offer led to that seller. That referral record does not contain your location query, IP address or browser identification.
