From Lady Kate's Garden
Lemon balm, is a bushy herbaceous perennial of the mint family that is typically grown in herb gardens and border fronts for its lemon-scented leaves. It adds a lemony flavor to salads, dressings, desserts, and can be infused in vodka or water for wonderful flavored summer drinks. It looses it flavor when dried, so take advantage of the fresh summer harvests.
