Rolling Plains Co-op describes itself as a resilient member-owned business that brings together Northeastern Montana farmers, ranchers and value-added producers to bolster their economic success and give consumers easy access to the region’s agricultural products. Its member-owners have joined together to gain improved distribution of what they produce in their extremely rural area of Montana to more urban areas across Montana and into adjoining states. The co-op says it is working to set up a food hub in Eastern Montana with local pickup and drop-off days.
