O’Hara Commons is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization at 111 South 4th Street in Hamilton. It says it offers year-round access to local foods: a mid-week farmers market during the summer months and a Winter Market food hub during the remainder of the year. Its Winter Market is an online farmers market offering locally grown food and value-added products from regional farmers and food producers, with the stated goal of meeting the growing demand for local, sustainable food while preserving the Bitterroot’s agricultural traditions. The Commons says the online food hub was developed with the support of over 65 local food growers, producers, volunteers and local food enthusiasts.
