Elderberry Shrub
Origin not yet confirmed
From Lilly of the Valley
My personal favorite way to prepare and consume the benefits of Elderberries, this shrub is made with fresh elderberries foraged and grown right around our valley here in Montana and some on our farm. This shrub is a slightly sweet with honey and vinegar preparation that is also infused with rose hip and a little cinnamon. Great for stimulating the immune system to keep those colds and flu's at bay, but also wonderful for enriching the body with antioxidants and lots of vitamin c. I love to mix this shrub into bubbly drinks, or just take by the spoonful. Yum! Ingredients: Foraged Elderberries (S. canadensis), farm grown rose hips, organic raw apple cider vinegar, raw local honey, organic cinnamon.
