We support all manners of beef production, as long as the animals are being well cared for, but for us, grass-fed cattle are what we know and love. Overall, grass-fed beef is lower in total fats and mono-unsaturated fats, has higher Omega-3s, Vitamin A and Vitamin E plus other added nutrients, when compared to grain-fed beef. When cattle eat what they were designed to – naturally grown plants – the beef has all the benefits it was meant to, with all the taste and flavor beef is known for. Because we finish our cattle in the same hills and prairies they were born in, they participate in what is called “regenerative agriculture” where they naturally replace everything they remove from the land.
