Saturday shopping at Riverside Park

The 2026 Miles City Farmers Market notice lists Saturdays, May 16 through October 31, from 7:30 a.m. to noon at Riverside Park. Seasonal produce, baking, preserves and honey are among the advertised foods. A particular vendor or item is not guaranteed; check with the organizer before a special trip.

Some vendors accept Senior and WIC produce vouchers. Ask the individual seller before choosing food with a voucher.

Bring what you grow or make

To sell at the market, contact Bernadette Miller at 406-234-1639 to register and discuss the food you plan to bring. First-time vendors must arrange participation before setting up. The notice also offers free vending for nonprofit and charity groups, with advance contact required. Read the organizer’s requirements before preparing food for sale.

Garden produce through Harvest for Seniors

Harvest for Seniors, organized by AmeriCorps Seniors Miles City RSVP with the Custer County Council on Aging, connects donated garden produce with local people aged 60 and older.

The organizer’s September 2026 notice lists donation windows on September 10, noon to 2 p.m., and September 15, 10 a.m. to noon, behind the Community Senior Center at 230 North Haynes Avenue. Call 406-234-0505 if you need to arrange another donation time.

For seniors collecting produce, the notice lists September 11 and September 18, 2026, 10 a.m. to noon, behind the same center. Produce is offered in arrival order while it lasts. September 18, 2026 is the last listed distribution; call RSVP about participation or changes before going.

A midday meal or household groceries

The Miles City Soup Kitchen serves a weekday midday meal at 24 North 11th Street, inside the Methodist Church. Montana Food Bank Network lists 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call 406-234-5013 to confirm meal arrangements before travelling, especially around holidays.

For groceries, Custer County Food Bank is at 15 North 8th Street, with listed hours Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Before your first visit, call 406-234-3663 to confirm current eligibility, documents and holiday hours. The food bank’s rules are separate from the market and the senior produce project.
